The public transit system in Vancouver Canada consists of an integrated system of bus, metro, commuter rail and ferry services.

The metro lines are:

  1. Skytrain Line to South Burnaby, New Westminster and Surrey (metro)
  2. Skytrain Millennium Line to North Burnaby, Coquitlam and New Westminster (metro)
  3. Canada Line to south Vancouver, Richmond and YVR Airport (metro)

The commuter rail line is the called the West Coast Express.  It provides service between Waterfront Station in Vancouver and the following destinations: Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge and Mission.

The Seabus service connects Waterfront Station in Vancouver with North Vancouver, on the north shore.

The single point of convergence for the above transportation services is Waterfront Station in downtown Vancouver.  It is located on Vancouver harbour east of Canada Place and the Vancouver Convention Centre.
