The Sir Baden Powell Trail runs from Deep Cove in North Vancouver, along the North Shore Mountains.  The hiking trail ends near Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver.  The photograph below, taken from downtown Vancouver, shows the mountains of North Vancouver in the distance.

The trail runs north of highway #1 and varies in altitude from sea level to about 2,500 feet.  The photographs is our collection were taken on a day hike that departed from the parking lot at the Cypress Mountain Ski Hill (at the end of Cypress Bowl Road) to the viewpoint overlooking Howe Sound.
